About PassPrep

PassPrep was created with one simple goal: to help family medicine trainees prepare more effectively for high-stakes examinations through high-quality questions that teach, not just test.

Unlike traditional question banks that focus primarily on providing answers, PassPrep emphasises understanding. Every question is designed to strengthen clinical reasoning, reinforce evidence-based practice, and improve confidence in making decisions encountered in everyday primary care.

PassPrep was founded to address an important gap in postgraduate family medicine education. While many established question banks are designed for candidates in the United Kingdom, Australia, or the United States, they are naturally built around those countries' clinical guidelines, healthcare systems, and examination expectations. PassPrep aims to provide a learning experience that is more relevant to doctors training in Malaysia by aligning its content with the icFRACGP/MAFP Conjoint Part 1 Applied Knowledge Test, incorporating Malaysian Clinical Practice Guidelines (CPGs), and reflecting the clinical scenarios encountered in local primary care practice.

In addition to supporting doctors preparing for the icFRACGP/MAFP Conjoint Part 1 Applied Knowledge Test, PassPrep may also serve as a valuable revision resource for candidates undertaking other postgraduate family medicine examinations, including the Malaysia Family Medicine Masters and MintFM examinations.

Questions are written and reviewed by experienced general practitioners using current evidence, recognised clinical guidelines, and realistic primary care scenarios. Every explanation is designed not only to help candidates answer examination questions, but also to improve the clinical reasoning skills needed in everyday practice.
